Support for the Fox-Ward family

For those of you who know Tori, you know she is a tremendous mom to four beautiful children, a dedicated school volunteer and such a positive light in the neighbourhood. You may also have heard that she and her family have suffered a devastating loss, when her husband and father to McKenzie, Emmett, Hayden and Raelynn suddenly passed away on March 13 2025. So many around her and the Vaughan Willard community have been asking what they can do to support her. I have checked with her before setting this page up; and though she is much more used to helping others, she believes if ever there was a time to accept some help, now is that time.

Any contributions to this page will go directly to Tori and her children to support them in their time of need.

It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we share the passing of Michael Ward on Thursday March 13, 2025. Mike leaves behind his wife Tori (Victoria) Fox, and their four beautiful children Mckenzie, Emmett, Hayden and Raelynn, all whom he loved deeply.

Mike was a loving husband, proud father, a dedicated family man and friend. Mike is survived by his parents, Chris & Gail, Nanners (Agnes), his in-laws, Andrew, Stephenie, Elizabeth (Phil), Peter (Nicole), as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Mike is predeceased by his beloved brother, David.

Mike lived a life full of laughter, loud music, good food and so much happiness. Mike built a life with his wife Tori that exceeded all his expectations, and their children were the light of his life. Despite the light, Mike struggled with the darkness of mental health and addiction. It was this darkness that tragically ended Mike’s life.

Mike’s memory will be carried in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy will carry on with his four littles. Mike will be forever loved and always missed.

Service of Remembrance to be held on Wednesday, March 26 in the Chapel at 11 a.m.
