The Elder Family recently experienced an unimaginable tragedy. Their house was devastated by a house fire, which left it unlivable, taking with it not only their belongings but also one of their pets. They have put 12 years of hard work and love into this home only for it to be left in ashes. Along with losing their home, they have a mother/grandmother who is turning 98 this year. Though she is in great health for her age, this adjustment has and will continue to be hard on her. They are concerned with finding her proper housing for this transition as well as being vigilant of her health through what may be the last years of her life.

They are incredibly grateful that their family survived, but are now facing the overwhelming reality of starting over from nothing. This has been an emotional and heartbreaking time for all of them.
