Ben and Maison got Scout's genetic test results back and have been in close communication with the biochemical geneticist in charge of her case.

Scout has what's called Leigh Syndrome. She has an early onset diagnosis and it is fatal. There is no cure.

On top of that, she has 6+ lesions in her brain stem, basal ganglia, and thalamus.

They will be getting more information about how progressed the diagnosis is and continuing to have more testing done and a more invasive MRI.

The children's hospital they have to take Scout to is hours away from their home so they will have to stay in a nearby hotel. Ben and Maison have two other beautiful girls who will be traveling along with them. Any donation would be greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
