At the end of last year on Christmas Day, my Dad, Dave Currie, passed away. It was a shock to the family and everyone who knew Dave, he left a mark bigger than any of us knew. As amazing as it is to have someone leave that large of an impact on your life, it makes it that much harder when they’re gone.

Dave was the financial support for the family, though he was able to get through the day to day, there wasn’t much for savings and my mom hasn’t been able to take a job for the last 15 years due to health reasons. The next steps are tough. The little money that was there is running out, and there’s fear that they may not be able to keep the house.

This money will all go to helping Erin Currie and Alabama Currie have time to live on, pay debts, and buy more time to find work. Healing through this process is a mountain of it’s own, lifting some of the financial burden helps with taking those next steps.
