Hi. My name is Brittney Mink, the sister of Michelle Batista. On Jan. 3, 2020 my older sister Michelle lost her life tragically in an automobile accident. Michelle was 38 years old and leaves behind three children; Chloe, Luis and Luca. She was a single mother and the center of their world. My sister got pregnant at a young age and worked hard to finish school to get a job at the Mayo Clinic as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist, so that she could provide a comfortable life for her kids. Chloe is currently going to college for Cosmetology, Luis is currently a Junior and is on track to graduate with honors and begin his biomedical engineering major at the University of Florida next year and Luca will be graduating fifth grade this year. I myself, am currently a senior in college working towards my bachelor’s degree in Management. Per Michelle’s wishes, I will be taking responsibility for the kids as most are underage and my goal is to continue to provide the life my sister has worked so hard to achieve for them. All your generous donations will go directly to the kids whether that means items for school or helping maintain their essential needs. Chloe and I are working together so the donations will be used accordingly and distributed evenly so Michelle’s children can continue to honor her memory and make her most proud.
