Support for the Cerullo family

Donation protected
On behalf of my brother Michael and his wife Mesa, I am starting this Go fund Me.

After 45 days of fighting sickness and 30 days on ECMO our precious boy Kipp Raymond Cerullo was able to rest peacefully on Tuesday September 5th at 3:45 pm. Michael and I were able to hold our baby boy and comfort him during his last moments on this Earth.

Kipp fought through every treatment that they could provide for him. He fought through numerous complications and was able to heal to the point where he could look at us and show us his love one last time. Ultimately, he had one final complication that his body could not overcome.

His drive and determination to come back to us is unmatched and we could not be prouder of everything he's accomplished in his 18 months with us. He was able to inspire and spread love to everyone he came into contact with, and then some. He will continue to be an inspiration to us and all that cared for him for the rest of our lives. His love and spirit will continue to live on in Michael, Burkley, myself and in everyone that has had the privilege of meeting him or even just seeing his smiling face.

We believe that Kipp was put on this Earth to be an embodiment of joy and happiness. To bring strength to everyone around him. He has taught us so much more about being parents and how much more to love him and others. We are beyond grateful that God chose us to be his parents. Thankful that we were able to have the best year and a half with him and Burkley doing the things that we love.

Kipp was able to bring together a community and network of people across the nation. People have reached out to help him in prayer as well as our family. We will never be able to repay you all for what you have done for us. We cherish the strength that he has built within that community. I believe we got a lot more time with him because of the prayers from all of you.

We also want to give our deepest “thanks” to the medical team at the Mary Bridge PICU. Kipp could not have been in better hands. We could not be more thankful for the extended amount of time that we got because of the care that they gave him.

The last 45 days have been extremely difficult, but we are relieved that Kipp is not having to fight so hard anymore. We couldn’t have asked him for anything else and are so relieved that he is safe, happy, laughing, smiling and eating chili and cake right now.

We acknowledge that this will never get easier, we ask for time and space for our family to process this. We find strength through him to continue on.

If you would like to help, please pray for peace for our entire family. If you would like to do anything beyond that we are still using the Go fund me for travel & funeral expenses. Alyssa Cerullo has set up a “meal train” account for us and I will link both of those below.
Any funds left over after travel and funeral expenses will be donated in Kipp's name to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital.

Once again thank you for everything that everyone has done, and he is safe and in a better place.

We will post dates for a “Celebration of life” in the next few days. Planning on doing two celebrations. One in Washington at Aspen Farms and one in Kansas at my parents' farm.
