Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my boyfriend’s family — the Cañeso family — who recently lost their entire home in a tragic fire in Muntindilaw, Antipolo. The flames spread so quickly that they had almost no time to react. While they were able to save a small amount of their belongings, the entire house was completely burned down, leaving them with almost nothing.

This tragedy comes at an already painful time. Just over a month ago, they also lost their father, and the family is still grieving his passing. Now, losing their home right before Christmas has made everything even heavier — emotionally, mentally, and financially.

This fundraiser is dedicated to the Cañeso family, to help them begin rebuilding their lives from the ground up. They urgently need assistance for clothing, food, temporary shelter, school and work essentials, and the initial funds needed to start rebuilding their home.

We are hoping to raise ₱300,000 – ₱500,000 (approximately A$10,000 – A$15,000) to support them during this incredibly difficult time. Any amount, no matter how small, will genuinely help the family take their first steps toward recovery.
