Support for the Brand Family

Ian suffered a tragic car accident on March 20, 2024. He leaves behind his loving wife Brit, precious children Silas and Remi and beautiful step daughter, Stella. We are trying to help the entire Brand family as they navigate this huge loss.

If you know Brit, you have definitely been touched by her compassion and generosity of spirit. Now is her time and we must rally around her and her babies.

It is with the heaviest of hearts I share that my beloved husband, lan, was suddenly taken to be with the Lord after a fatal car accident early Wednesday morning. I have never experienced a hurt like this in my life - and never thought this much pain possible in my wildest dreams. lan was the very best dad and step dad. His joy and humor transcended every place he stepped foot in. He was kind, generous, loving, playful, hard working, so so brave and so much more. He was my protector, my partner, my very best friend, my confidant, my travel buddy and the love of my life. I am absolutely shattered as I write this to share with my friends- I just don't have the strength to reach out directly and replay this horror over and over individually. This is confusion and grief and all the terrible things that come with it. But what I do know, is that God is good; and I know lan knew and loved the Lord with all his heart and all his mind and all his strength. So I have no doubts as to where my precious love is now, watching over me and our children and giving me his strength, that I so desperately need right now. I love this man fiercely and I thank him for being my person. Forever and ever.
