I never imagined I would spend the final weeks of my high-risk pregnancy alone, and I never imagined I would be in a position where I would have to ask others for help.
My husband has been stuck in El Salvador since April 28 due to an ongoing administrative process, even after submitting the requested documents on May 13. We still have no answers about when he will be able to return home.
Just months before becoming pregnant, I was already struggling with depression and anxiety. I worked hard to regain stability, but this situation has been emotionally overwhelming during one of the most vulnerable times of my life.
I am currently 32 weeks pregnant with a high-risk pregnancy while caring for our 8-year-old son completely on my own. Because of my pregnancy complications, I am unable to work, and our savings are slowly running out as I try to cover rent, food, bills, transportation, and basic necessities for our family.
Every day brings more uncertainty as I try to stay strong and healthy for my children while facing this situation without my husband by my side.
As difficult as it is for me to ask, I truly need help to get through these next critical weeks until my husband can hopefully return home. Any donation, no matter how small, would help us maintain stability and cover our most urgent needs during this incredibly difficult time.
If you are unable to donate, sharing our story would mean the world to us.
Thank you so much for your kindness, prayers, and support.
