Hi!

My name is Katie. I work at Oakland International High School. A public school is Oakland that directly serves newcomer teenagers. Newcomers are students who move to America from another country. 100% of our school are English Language Learners (ELLs) and many are bi and tri lingual. Our school is a title 1 school and the majority of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch.

Some of our students come here with children or have recently give birth. Many students come from large families where there are many to provide for. Having an emergency fund at our school specifically for diapers, formula, rent, clothes, and other family necessities has proven in the past months to be of great need in our school.

100% of your donation will go to the emergency fund for the mothers of our school so that they can provide for their newborns and toddlers.
