Many have asked how they can help Taylor, Trevor, and baby Frankie as they settle into a long NICU stay. They don’t like asking for help but we have encouraged them to lean on family and friends. They finally agreed to let me create a go fund me:) We will be having a shower in the future but we are giving it sometime before we know exactly what that will look like and what Frankie will need.
Frankie is doing well and is progressing just as she should for a babe her size. Tay and Trevor are rock star parents and are looking forward to the first time they’ll hold their baby girl.
We have come up with the following ways to help:
1: small cards and pictures to decorate our little fighters NICU room. She currently has one sign her cousins made her and we’d love to see it filled up! I imagine her looking back on pictures from her NICU stay and knowing how many people were cheering her on. If youd like to mail something please message me on Facebook and I’ll send you my address.
2: Books! We’d love for Tay and Trevor to have a library of books to read Frankie. Any duplicate books will be donated to other NICU families so don’t worry about getting them something they may already have. Books passed down from other kiddos are more than welcome. If you’d like to mail a book please message me on Facebook and I’ll send you my address.
3. Food. They are at the NICU from the time Trevor gets off work until bed time so they don’t have a lot of time to cook dinner. Tay is there anytime she isn’t at home with their dogs. Frozen meals and gift cards would be helpful. Gift cards can be sent to [email redacted].
4. Monetary donations on here if that is a preferred way to help for anyone.
