Stuart Fire Chief Stephen Martinson, his pregnant wife Joey (due in July), and their three sons are facing an incredibly challenging time after their home was struck by lightning, resulting in a fire that has displaced their family. As they navigate the aftermath, they are dealing with smoke damage to their belongings and a range of unexpected expenses that come with being temporarily uprooted from their home. Stephen has dedicated himself to serving the community, and now he and his family need support as they work to recover and rebuild.

My husband serves under Stephen’s leadership on the fire department, and we are family friends. Seeing their family go through this hardship has been heartbreaking, and we want to do everything we can to help them get back on their feet. The funds raised will go directly toward replacing smoke-damaged items and covering the costs associated with being displaced, such as temporary housing, meals, and other essentials while repairs are made to their home.
