I'm a single parent to a 5-year-old, and recently, life has thrown more at us than I ever imagined. I just lost my mother, and while I was staying at her house to watch over things, my own home was broken into. The money I had been saving for four years was stolen, along with other irreplaceable items and jewelry that I can't replace. It’s been a heartbreaking and overwhelming time for both me and my child.
