Hi everyone,
My name is Travis Erdman. I am the brother of Sheridan Barnhart and the brother-in-law of Danny Barnhart Jr.
As many of you know, on Thursday, January 29, Danny was involved in a car accident that tragically ended his time here on earth. I am starting this GoFundMe to help support my widowed sister, Sheridan, and the two amazing girls she and Danny shared together—Hailee, who is 15, and Taylor, who is 9.
There is no dollar amount that can ever bring Danny back, but any donation you are able to make will help ease some of the financial burdens ahead, including funeral expenses and unexpected financial setbacks.
Danny was a true staple in the community. From being outgoing and adventurous, to an outdoorsman, a cheer dad, and so much more—he touched countless lives. He fulfilled a lifelong dream by joining Martz Game Farm as a hunting guide, where he worked alongside his two beloved dogs, Cain and Remmy. Danny was a favorite among clients and was often requested time and time again.
He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and trapping, but his greatest passion was fishing. He never went anywhere without a fishing rod, just in case he could squeeze in a few casts. He often competed in bass fishing tournaments. Danny was also a talented cook who loved grilling and smoking food for family and friends.
Danny had a wide circle of friends who knew they could always count on him. Above all else, he cherished every moment spent with his family.
I would also like to personally thank all of the second responders—who are the family and friends who fought the cold, who knew Danny better than anyone else, who stayed and searched until he was recovered. You are the true heroes, and our family cannot thank you enough.
Please consider sharing this and donating if you are able. All proceeds will help these girls more than words can express. Over the last few years, our family has been through more than anyone could imagine.
Hold your loved ones close, and God bless.
