My husband has always been a dedicated security guard, working hard to provide for our family and keep our community safe. Many of you may know him not just from his job, but also from the beautiful sound of his drumming at church every week. Unfortunately, our lives changed in an instant when he was assaulted by several individuals with bats and tools while responding to a burglary call. He was simply doing his job, and now he faces a long road to recovery after this senseless act of violence.

The injuries he sustained have left him unable to work or play the drums, two things that mean so much to him and to those who know him. He has already undergone surgery and still has two more to go, with doctors estimating a recovery time of 6-9 months. During this time, he will need medical equipment, ongoing care, and support to help with lost wages. The financial burden is overwhelming, and we are doing our best to stay strong for each other.
