I'm Erin, and I'm reaching out on behalf of my brother Devin, his wife Sarah, and their family through this GoFundMe page. On the evening of August 14th, my sister-in-law, Sarah, began experiencing heart palpitations and elevated blood pressure while she was 36 weeks pregnant. After several hours of monitoring at the critical access hospital in their small town, she was life-flighted to Community Hospital in Missoula.

On the morning of August 15th, Sarah gave birth to their third child, Cord Marcus, who remains in the NICU receiving exceptional care. Sarah is still in the hospital due to complications from HELLP syndrome, a serious condition with an unknown exact cause. Despite being well cared for, this situation was far from their planned home birth with a midwife, as they had with their other two sons.

While Sarah and Cord continue their recovery in the hospital, Devin, a business owner, needs to return to Salmon this week. The unexpected medical expenses and time off work have created a significant burden for their family, and they could use all the support they can get during this challenging time.
