If You Are Able Please Help During Our Time of Loss

My name is Sandra, and I recently lost my husband, Michael Rieff. He was a wonderful, loving, and devoted father to our three boys—Jackson, Lincoln, and Huxley. Michael’s passing has left a huge hole in our lives, and we’re now facing challenges I never imagined we’d have to handle on our own.

Just before Michael died, we worked our way from a 900sqft 2bed Apt into a small house, understanding that the increase in rent would be worth the boys having their own space.

Jackson is 16 and about to be a sophomore and working on getting his driver’s permit, Lincoln is 12 and heading into 7th grade, and Huxley is eight, excited to start third grade. These are such important years for them, and I want to do everything I can to keep their lives as stable by providing as much support as I possibly can in any way that they might need.

It means so much to me and I feel like it's important that they want to invite their friends over. Confidently knowing that there's enough space for them to stay over or game together with each brother having their own personal space. Ultimately if our house is the gathering spot then I get to be closer and more a part of their lives than if they were somewhere else.

With our rent now doubled and only one income, I’m struggling with the sudden transition and I do need help, temporarily to keep up with the bills.. I’m asking for help to cover our rent, electric bill, and to make sure Huxley can play soccer this fall.

Your support will help us stay in our home and give my boys the chance to keep growing, learning, and making new memories, happy memories, even as we navigate through our emotions in this ew indefensible reality of ours.
