On Thursday, 3/5/26, I was involved in a head on collision that completely totaled my car. The impact left me with multiple injuries, including a fractured sternum, and I am now facing a long recovery. Right now, I am unable to return to work, which means my family is living on a single income until I am cleared to go back. The pain and limitations from my injuries have made it difficult to care for our daughter, manage daily tasks at home, and I am without a vehicle to get to appointments or run errands.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward helping us cover essential household expenses, monthly bills, medical bills, and childcare. Every bit of support will help ease the financial burden while I focus on healing and regaining my independence. This accident has forced us to make many adjustments, and the emotional toll has been just as challenging as the physical recovery.
We very much appreciate any and all support that is given to our family at this time. I have always believed in the power of community and the importance of looking for the helpers. As someone who has tried to be a helper myself, I am forever grateful for our village and for everyone who is able to lend a hand. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for your kindness and support.
