Support for Reliable Transportation
$80 raised of $1K
Update from automotive shop: The quote to repair a wire on the alternator, the wire to the cylinder injector, and a new battery, plus labor is $1100. The price for them to diagnose the problem was $139.00. Since I can't afford to pay to repair it at this time I had to pay the $139.00 then have it towed to my house. Now we are completely without transportation.
Update:
I was blessed to receive a loan to help pay the bills I was behind on so I've altered my goal. Unfortunately, my car fully broke down and is currently in the shop. I'm waiting for them to tell me how much it will cost to get it running again. I will change my goal once I know more.
A few months ago, my car was totaled after I loaned it to someone and it was involved in an accident. I used the insurance money to buy another vehicle, but it has turned out to have significant mechanical problems. I've already spent money trying to fix it, and my little brother has put about $500 into repairs to help keep me going.
Right now, I still don't know exactly what's wrong with the car, but I need reliable transportation. My daughter, Olive, has medical appointments with her endocrinologist in Sacramento, and I can't afford to be without a dependable vehicle. At the same time, I've fallen behind financially and my bank account is currently overdrawn.
I'm hoping to raise funds to help cover diagnostics and repairs, repay my brother for his help, and catch up on essential bills while I get back on my feet. Any support, whether through a donation or sharing this fundraiser, would mean the world to my family.
Thank you for reading and for any help you can give.
