On June 21, Reham and Geradoux arrived at the hospital excited to bring their first child into the world. What should have been the happiest day of this family’s life became the worst as Reham suffered an extremely rare but sudden, catastrophic complication during labour/delivery. The baby was delivered by emergency C-section, but Reham tragically passed.

It is with overwhelming sorrow that we, her friends, have started this fundraiser to assist Geradoux as he loves and cares for Baby Taj El-Deen through this period of immeasurable grief. Taj and Geradoux are the direct beneficiaries of all funds raised, which will provide for the baby’s immediate needs, including night nursing, formula and any other expenses that arise.

Family and friends will tell Taj of his mother’s lively mind and spirit. Our beloved Reham was a spark, full of fun, humour and shining personality. She worked hard and loved life. She was the most generous and fiercely loyal friend; a devoted sister and daughter; a doting cool aunt to two young nephews. She was a proud, supportive wife. We know she would have been an incredible mother who would model herself after her own mama, her hero.

We are all devastated and heartbroken, but we are determined that Taj and Geradoux will receive love and support. If you are able to help this family, it would be so appreciated.
