“Tulip”
I was told I couldn’t get pregnant. We came to finally accept that.
On March 7th, I experienced a ruptured ectopic pregnancy that led to internal bleeding and a life-threatening emergency surgery, and a blood transfusion.
This is my second pregnancy that ended in pain, and not being able to hold my baby. It has been an incredibly difficult and emotional time, and I am still processing everything that has happened. My husband has been by my side through it all, staying home with me to make sure I am as physically and mentally okay as possible. He had to watch me almost die, and see me in all the pain that has come with this experience. It has been really hard on him too. We are both doing our best to support each other, but the road to recovery is long and uncertain. I have many doctors visits ahead and am facing significant hospital bills, and my insurance just cut off about a month ago. Because of my recovery, I can’t work for at least 3-6 weeks and we are struggling to make ends meet.
The funds raised here will help cover my medical bills, and living expenses while I recover. We are doing our best to heal physically and emotionally, but the financial burden is overwhelming. Any support means the world to us right now, and we are deeply grateful for any help you can offer. Thank you for reading our story and for standing with us during this difficult time. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference as we work toward healing and stability.
We named the baby Tulip. It’s the first thing that popped in my head when my husband asked me. Tulips bloom in spring, they don’t stay here long, but they sure are beautiful! ☀️
