Today, I was in Walmart and I walked up to Randy, who was shopping with his two daughters. I asked him if a wad of cash was his, and he said no. I kept asking, and he continued to say no. I then rewarded him with $1,000 for his honesty, and he immediately broke down in tears and shared that his wife is in the hospital battling stage 4 cancer. He said the insurance isn’t able to cover it, and he’s a struggling small business owner who does handyman work. They don’t have savings and are in desperate need of a miracle.
