Hello, my name is Sujatha, I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Ranjani, her brother and my best friend Rajkumar.

I am Rajkumar's classmate from School in India and even though I live in the US we're still connected and are good friends for over 32 years. My friends and I fondly call him Raj. He is such a sweet, kind, friendly and fun person to be with and loved by everyone.

Raj is a Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patient for over 18 years. He is a true warrior fighting the disease until last October when his imbalance and mobility started getting worse and by March 2023 he became completely bedridden. His dear sister and guarding angel who is taking of him and her dad who is 91 years old also bedridden because of the age factor, taking care of both of them is becoming a challenge. In the meantime Raj's MS is progressing fast, he is now hospitalized and is struggling to breathe, one of his lungs has lost its function and has become, oxygen-dependent now and in a ventilator, which is leading to aspiration leading to feeding by Ryles tube, his throat, face and heart muscles will also start becoming stiff and will lose function. It is unimaginable and immensely painful to see what he is going through over the last few months.
