Rachel Vaughn was a loving mother, wife, and niece whose life was tragically cut short in a recent car accident. She leaves behind her husband, Jacob, their two-year-old son, Sean, and their two-month-old daughter, Heather. Heather was in the car with Rachel at the time of the accident and was miraculously unharmed. Rachel’s family in Colorado and Chicago meant everything to her, and she filled their lives with warmth through her love of camping, hiking, baking, crocheting, and reading. She was truly the heart and soul of her little family.

Jacob is now facing the unimaginable challenge of moving forward without Rachel. He is surrounded by a large, loving family and a close group of friends who are doing everything they can to support him and the children. The babies are being cared for by Jacob, as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, all offering hugs, kisses, and love during this difficult time. However, the financial burden of funeral expenses, hospital bills, child care, and other unforeseen costs is significant and ongoing.
