My mother fell and broke her ankle about a month ago in 2 places. She had 2 surgeries, and she's still in rehab. Medicare covered the hospital costs, but Humana will only cover 20 days of rehab for her. Today's her 20th day, and after today it costs $160 a day. I'm not sure how long it'll be before she's out of there, but a month at $160 a day is like $4,300. We need help... My brother, Scott, and I are trying to figure it out on this end, but options are bleak.
