Support for Pam Underdue and family

Greetings family and friends,

As most of you may know, Pam Underdue has endured some very serious health issues over the past few years, including multiple surgeries on her wrists, spine, hips and more. She battled and survived a potentially deadly MRSA superbug infection in 2020.

Pam’s strength and will to survive comes from her family, her son Eric, adopted sons Kaden and Khalid (Rah), whom she adopted and raised since losing best friend Kimberly Foulks in 2015 and gives her all to be a safe and nurturing space for any child who is in need.

Pam had just moved to a new home with Eric and Kaden a week before Halloween to provide more safety for the boys from street violence and daily threats to their lives. What follows is her account of an incident involving her new neighbors pit bull on October 31st, just one week after moving in:

“Monday, I was attacked by my neighbors Cane Carso mixed with Pit Bull dog. I went out front to rescue my dogs head out of our fence. ( he had it stuck like Gina in between the head rails on Martin) no seriously tho, lol…. As I was trying to get his head unstuck the dog came running and leaped at me! So naturally I threw my arm to block my face/neck & then it was on like popcorn after that! He started attacking me like I was a rag doll! **found out neighbors were actually in process of being robbed so the dog was in full attack mode when he saw me! *** freak accident!!!! I am wounded but I will heal! It could have ended more tragic! My season! I asked the police and animal services NOT to put my neighbors dog down!! He was trained to protect his home! This owner needs to train his son how to handle his protector! I Still love dogs!!❤️❤️“

Pam has the biggest heart and even though she still loves dogs, will need to retain a lawyer to fight the owner for damages and liability for her injuries. Now the medical bills, legal fees and daily expenses are mounting and they are struggling to cover all basic needs as well.

In addition to recovering from this attack, Pam has another complicated back surgery scheduled for December which will keep her out of work for several more weeks. She still lives with severe migraines due to surviving 2 brain cysts.

There is just not enough coming in and it will be months before Pam can work again.

The family needs your help now and in the coming months as the holidays are here too. Please donate anything you can and consider a weekly or monthly donation to help carry them through this very challenging time.

Thank you and God Bless!
