Hi everyone, this is for me and my immediate family. My father is currently in the Neuro ICU and was intubated (breathing on a machine) for two weeks after having a seizure on February 4th. 

I could write an interesting story about who my dad is but he’s the one person I love most in this world alongside my daughter. The three of us are a unit living together over the last couple years. My dad has been disabled most of my life but his recent seizures started a year ago.

We live in a small unincorporated town and it’s a 45 minute drive to the nearest hospital. So there is no public transportation to get down the mountain in case of emergency. My dad recently brought up moving back to the desert so it may be time to think of changing locations because the elevation isn’t good for high blood pressure.

I’ve been trying more recently to find a steady job again but it’s hard to get work up here especially in the winter. I’m trying to stay positive but am reaching out for support so I can be of more help to take care of my dad, fix his car or save for my own, while staying on top of our bills etc.

My dad always tells me not to worry & about money but the only thing I’m concerned about right now is him. I’m catching rides down to the hospital to visit. If this story doesn’t get far I hope it at least reaches some who will pray for my dad’s healing and recovery.
