Hi everyone,

My name is Sierra, and I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of my mom, Shawn, and my 10-year-old niece, Alaiyah, whom she cares for.

Our world was shattered recently with the passing of my father, Paul. A hardworking, generous, and loving man who was truly the rock of our family. Over the last few months, he fought bravely against cancer. We held on to hope, and he never gave up, but the disease took him from us too soon.

Paul was in our lives for 15 years, but his impact was life-changing and permanent. He came into our lives when we needed him most. Becoming a father figure to my sisters and I, raising Alaiyah like his own daughter since the day she was born, standing by my mother’s side as she fought through cancer, grieving with her through the sudden tragic loss of my sister, and more. He didn’t just step into a role, he became the heart of our family. Paul was the kind of man who loved without conditions. He gave us so many happy memories that we will forever remember and so much love that nobody will ever be able to replace.

Paul was the best Poppop anyone could ask for. He showed up with love, and patience and Alaiyah, Kaylee, Elena, Aria, and Tino absolutely adored him. He poured his heart into being Poppop, and it showed in the way they loved him back.

Especially his relationship with Alaiyah. He was more than just Poppop to her, he was a father figure that she needed. When she lost her mom, he was the one who helped hold her world together.

Now, with his passing, my mom faces not only the emotional weight of losing her husband but also the financial strain of continuing to raise and care for my niece without his support. We are doing everything we can, but we’re reaching out to ask for help during this incredibly difficult time.

Funds raised will go directly to supporting my mom and niece with everyday living expenses, including housing, food, medical needs, and school-related costs for my niece. Every donation, no matter how small, means the world to us.
