Dear Friends,

After four weeks of tears, fears and prayers, our Ukrainian family (from Kyiv) are hotel in Munich. Uncle Slava (63), Aunt Sveta, Aunt Marina, Cousin Masha, and baby Misha (4 months) have survived a harrowing journey thus far into an unknown future.

They have joined millions seeking safe harbor while their husbands and sons defend the "Citadel of Freedom," which Ukraine has now become. Their courageous struggle is our struggle: to defeat an evil dictator and support freedom and democracy the world over.

We are honored and deeply grateful for your support of our family during Ukraine's finest hour. We need your help to sustain our family with food, shelter, medical care, and travel expenses. We hope they can join us at our home in Guerneville until it is safe for them to return. The United States may soon join Europe and Canada in allowing "humanitarian parole" visas to protect them from harm's way.
