My mom was taken into ICE custody on January 20th, 2026 after dropping my siblings off at school. She was walking back when she was surrounded by 5 agents and transported to Delaney Hall.

We need help covering legal costs, rent, childcare costs, and anything else during these hard times without her. She was the head of household and the primary breadwinner, with her absence leaving a massive financial strain as well as an emotional one.

Her children are 5,9,21 and 24(me). She has 3 grandchildren ages 2 months, 2 years and 4 years old who are feeling her absence already and asking a lot of questions that we don’t know how to answer yet.
