My family is going through an incredibly difficult time. On July 17th, we lost my sister Holly, who was only 39 years old. Her passing was sudden and unexpected—she was the light in my life and my best friend. We had to travel out of state to lay her to rest, which added to the emotional and financial strain.

Shortly after, my husband Sean had to leave home to receive treatment for a rare health condition. While I can’t share details about his diagnosis, his absence has left us without his income, as he does not have short-term disability. Our son has also lost his job as he tries to cope with the loss of his aunt, and as a family, we are still grieving and struggling to keep ourselves together.
