Our family was harassed and attacked in a hate crime on Sunday, July 11, 2026. A repeat offender in our neighborhood pulled out a metal baseball bat and swung it across my wife’s back, calling her obscenities about being a lesbian and threatened to kill her and the entire family. He is mentally unwell and repeatedly arrested for harassing our entire neighborhood. Right now, he is in police custody and we have filed the appropriate court documents so that he can never come near us again. However, he lives across the street at his parents’ house and they cover for him constantly. We are asking for support to get through this incredibly challenging time.
