Support for Our Family After Emergency Birth

Hi everyone!

As you know, on 3/5/2026 Chris and I had our sweet baby Penelope in the most chaotic of ways.
I was induced at 37 weeks due to gestational hypertension. Everything was great, until it wasn't. I had to have an emergency c-section because once they broke my water, the umbilical cord prolapsed and was causing low blood flow to Penelope. Once Penelope was born, she started to had difficulty breathing and had been on oxygen support. Eventually she had to be moved to sparrow to get more oxygen support as Mclaren only has limited access to do so.

Penelope has been thriving, and will be home soon. Me on the other hand, have been admitted for preeclampsia and other complications. In the midst of all of this, Chris has been having to stay home with the boys, and having to take time off of work. While his job has been wonderful about everything, I unfortunately do not get paid maternity leave and it has left us in a financial bind. Chris has been wonderful and keeping a level head through everything and a wonderful support system. Just looking for some help to keep our heads above water (bills, things for the kids, gas from going back and forth to two different hospitals daily, appointments, etc) while we go through this difficult time. Anything is appreciated.❤️
