'I wanted to ask everyone to consider something in the name of Pete’s solidarity and the spirit of the season. It has come to my attention that some or our Pete’s Family are unable to get Unemployment Benefits or stimulus money. I’ve asked that we set up an internal fundraiser to help those that have had no income these last many weeks. If this crisis has taught us anything, it’s how much we are in this together in this world, and that and the service and nurture we provide, together, is “essential” to our communities. I’ve always known this truth, as I know you all have too; this is a perfect time to remind one another that we’re each essential to one another at Illegal Pete’s. We are all family, and our family needs us now.

I’ll be starting the contribution by kicking in the stimulus I received for my two daughters, $1,000. While I completely understand that times are difficult for everyone right now, If you can spare $20, $50, $100 it will help keep our family afloat and out of harms way. We'll all be back at our essential Pete’s business shortly, and I guarantee that the world will pay you back ten-fold- I’ve seen it over and over again.'
