A nurse who spends her days caring for others now needs a little care and support herself.

I’m raising funds for an incredible friend and colleague who has dedicated her career to helping others as a nurse.

She is a DACA recipient and recently had her immigration documents lost in the mail by Immigration. Because of this, she is currently unable to work until a replacement copy arrives, leaving her without income through no fault of her own.

On top of this, she lives with chronic illnesses that are worsened by stress, making this unexpected situation even more difficult. Unfortunately, she is not eligible for Kiel donation program, which normally allows coworkers to donate PTO hours to help someone continue receiving pay.

Right now, she just needs support to get through this temporary gap while waiting for her documents so she can return to the work she loves.
