Help support brothers family battling Parkinson’s
Donation protected
FAMILY, that's a very meaningful word. We all have family in need and try to do our part to support them. Even then, though, that might not be enough.
My niece is the main caretaker for my brother who is elderly and in the final stages with Parkinson's, not able to dress, bathe, or feed himself. Even communicating is a battle, being a pastor for over 50 years, preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. Not being able to talk has added deep emotional distress to his life.
you know how preachers love to talk.
She is also raising her 2 sons, 1 and 6, with little if any reliable assistance from their fathers. Local churches have aided in bringing items from their food pantries as she also has no transportation.
Battling heart disease herself, transportation would be great to have.
The vehicle was in need of repairs and is ready, but one of the boys' fathers said he would pay for the repairs and has not done so at this time.
God has blessed with Hospice; that wonderful group comes with support and aid, asking nothing in return.
She has reached out to organizations for assistance, only to be informed they are not taking applications at this time.
That doesn't mean the bills stop coming in; rent alone is $2000. Living off social security doesn't leave a whole lot of wiggle room.
We are fundraising to help cover the costs of rent, vehicle repairs, and other essential expenses.
This fundraiser is for my niece, who is the main caretaker for my brother and is also raising her two young sons.
