The PBB Foundation is a startup nonprofit organization focused on addressing the often-overlooked needs of postpartum mothers and their families. Our core purpose is to provide accessible, evidence-based support for the physical, emotional, and social challenges ofthe postpartum period. We believe that every mother deserves compassionate care and guidance as they navigate the "fourth trimester."
Through our programs, we offer:
- Lactation Support: Provides individualized and group-based lactation assistance from certified lactation consultants (IBCLCs), helping mothers navigate feeding challenges and improve bonding.
- Mental Health Counseling: Offers postpartum-specific mental health support through short-term counseling, group therapy sessions, and referral coordination with licensed clinicians for ongoing care.
- Educational Workshops: A rotating series of workshops covering topics such as infant care, maternal recovery, mental wellness, partner adjustment, and family communication.
- Resource Navigator: Dedicated case managers who guide families in accessing childcare resources, and other essential community services.
- Emergency Relief: Part of our Mother’s Day Out, is a respite care initiative where licensed caregivers provide safe, nurturing childcare, allowing mothers time to rest, attend appointments, or engage in self-care activities.
