Support for Nelson and Misael's Families
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Naomi Cumul, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support. On March 26, 2025, my father, Nelson Cumul, and my uncle, Misael Cumul, and other coworkers were detained by ICE while simply heading to work in Buffalo, NY. Both of them have been hardworking people. My father has lived in the U.S. for over 20 years, and my uncle for almost 10 years. They had traveled to New York with one purpose: to provide for us, their children and loved ones back home. They’ve always done everything they could to give us a better life, and now they’re the ones who need help. They have spent their lives working in warehouses and making deliveries as truck drivers to support their families. Now, they are being held in detention, and our entire family is devastated. My father is the proud dad of two daughters, and my uncle has children who are now left wondering when their dad will come home. We are doing everything we can to fight for their release, but the costs are overwhelming. Your donations will help cover: legal representation and immigration court fees, bond to bring them home safely, transportation and travel to detention centers and court dates, and support for our families while our loved ones are detained. We are fighting not just to bring them home, but to make sure people hear our story. Nelson and Misael are more than names in a system; they are fathers, brothers, workers, and kind men who deserve to be with their families, not behind bars.
Every donation, every share, every message of support makes a difference. Please stand with us in this fight and help bring Nelson and Misael back home.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
