My name is Nakia. On August 21, 2024, I lost my daughter, Keiaja Barnes. She was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street to get to work at Ingalls Shipyard, where she was employed. Unfortunately, she did succumb to her injuries. She leaves behind 4 children: Kensley, 6, Karlee, 4, Nacoa, 2, and Aziya, 5 months.
