Hello, my name is Nicole and unfortunately earlier this week my uncle was taken into custody by ICE. He is currently in the process of being deported back to Vietnam. My uncle has been in the states for practically over 25+ years and has not been back to Vietnam since my family immigrated to the US when he was a teenager. He has worked hard his whole life here, while creating a great community around him. My uncle has constantly worked graveyard shifts, 12-14 hour shifts, and practically worked all his life to provide a better future for the people he cared about. He has dedicated his life to taking care of our family and now he’s being separated from the life and loved ones he knew.

As my family prepares for this separation, I want to be able to provide my uncle with funds that can help with adjusting to his new environment. My uncle has sacrificed a lot for our family and taken on a father figure role in my life specifically. I want to now be able to support him in any way that I can. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
