Support for my parents while my stepdad battles cancer

On Monday May 20, 2024, my stepdad was rushed to the ER with sudden and severe lower abdominal pain and motor oil like urine. To our horror, he was diagnosed with stage 4 Kidney cancer that metastasized into both of his lungs and is spreading quickly. After working as a mechanic for 30+ years, this has taken a major toll on his mind and body, therefore leaving my mother as the sole income while trying to balance monthly house bills and newly acquired medical bills. This is only the beginning of a long, emotional, and painful journey for our family. UPDATE**

The official diagnosis is stage 4 Renal cell Carcinoma with high-grade non-small cell carcinoma of the lungs. Bob has been accepted into Mayo Clinic however we are still awaiting treatment, thank you for your continued support.

UPDATE 2 - 7/29/2024

Treatment has officially begun! It has taken so long due to Bob continuously going into AFib as well as dealing with newly discovered Malignant hypercalcemia. There have been many long nights in the hospital however we are thankful that he now has the option to have a care team at home. Thank you again to everyone who has supported all of us. We are forever grateful.
