My life changed in an instant when I took full custody of my two nieces, Teneicia Turner (age 3) and Genesis Turner (just 5 weeks old and born three months premature at only 1lb 5oz). Their parents, my brother and his girlfriend, are both fully disabled and unable to care for them. My brother has lived with cerebral palsy and brain damage since he was two years old, and his girlfriend was born with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and mental illness. Despite all odds, they brought two beautiful girls into the world, but now it’s up to me to give them the care and love they deserve.

Genesis arrived unexpectedly early on October 31, 2025, and is still in the hospital fighting every day. I am currently off work without pay so I can be by her side as much as possible, and I wasn’t financially prepared for the sudden responsibility of caring for a premature baby and a toddler. The costs of baby supplies, medical needs, and even basic necessities have quickly added up, and I want to make sure both girls have everything they need to thrive.

Your support will help us with essentials like a car seat, bassinet, clothes, diapers, wipes, bottles, and premie items for Genesis. It will also help with car repairs so I can safely get the girls to their appointments, as well as cover their medicine, vitamins, and some things to make their Christmas special. I would be truly grateful and appreciative for any support we receive.
