Today, my family’s childhood home was lost in a devastating fire. By God’s grace, no one was hurt. My niece, Abbey, and her 4-year-old daughter, Annalise — who turns 5 on March 8 — were not home at the time, and we are deeply thankful for the Lord’s protection.
While we are grateful for their safety, the loss is profound. This home held generations of memories and irreplaceable keepsakes from our parents and family members. Losing those pieces of our shared history feels, in many ways, like losing them all over again.
Right now, the priority is helping my niece rebuild a sense of safety and stability for her little girl. They are starting over and in immediate need of:
• Clothing and shoes
• Toiletries and daily essentials
• Temporary housing support
• Funds to help replace basic furniture and household items
• Comfort items and necessities for a young child who has lost everything familiar
If you feel led to give, any amount will make a difference. If you’re unable to donate, prayers and sharing this fundraiser are deeply appreciated.
Thank you for surrounding our family with love, compassion, support and prayers during this difficult time.
