Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

I am reaching out on behalf of my mother, Marlene Shirley who recently suffered a terrible fall and broke her hip. She has undergone surgery, but the cost of her medical care will take her entire life savings, leaving her with little to nothing to live on during her recovery.

My mother, together with my late father, Dale Shirley who passed away six years ago, have been true pillars of the Vallarta church community. For decades, they dedicated their lives to serving others. Every Christmas, they organized the annual Christmas at the Dump, a mission to feed and bless the poor in our community. What began as a small act of kindness grew into a tradition supported by countless donations, touching hundreds of lives year after year.

They also worked closely with several churches and the Salvation Army, always putting others before themselves. My mother has never hesitated to give, serve, and love unconditionally — but now she is the one in need.

As she faces the challenges of recovery, medical expenses, and the uncertainty of financial strain, I am humbly asking for your support. Any amount, no matter how small, will go directly toward covering her surgery and ongoing care so that she can heal without the overwhelming weight of financial worry.
