For the past three years, I have been caring for my two nieces after my sister was no longer able to do so. It has been a journey filled with challenges and love, and together we have built a home where the girls feel safe and supported. Now, my sister has welcomed a new baby, and the need has come up for someone to provide a loving placement for this little one. I will be welcoming the baby into our family very soon, knowing it will mean even more responsibility and change for all of us.

Preparing for a new baby is always a big task, but doing so while caring for two children and facing unpaid time off from work makes it even more daunting. The costs of baby supplies, diapers, formula, and the everyday expenses of raising three children add up quickly. I am reaching out to my community for support during this transition, so I can focus on giving all the kids the care and stability they deserve while I am on leave.
