hey everyone,

i wanted to give an update, even though it’s not the kind of news i hoped to share. back in september, my dad’s work slowed down because of the circumstances that have been putting the latino community in danger. sadly, things have only gotten worse, and now he’s not able to work at all. you can DM me directly if you’d like more details, i can’t share much through a META app but i can let you know more info if needed.

we’ve been trying so hard to keep everything together. it used to be the three of us working to make ends meet, but now it’s just my partner and me doing our best to cover everything. it’s been overwhelming and exhausting to say the least. to make things even harder, our landlord recently raised our rent by $300. i’ve already reached out to lawyers, but i will still have to pay that increase soon.

every donation will go directly toward our rent and keeping a roof over our heads. it’s not easy asking for help again, but we truly have no other option right now. we’re doing everything we can to stay strong, but it’s been such a heavy time for my family.
