Five months ago, my world changed forever when I lost two of my sons, ages 9 and 6, in a tragic car accident. Since that day, I have not been able to return to work. The pain of this loss is something I live with every moment, and my three remaining children are struggling deeply as well. They refuse to attend school or be apart from me, and we have all been sleeping together in the living room because they cannot bring themselves to return to their room.
As a single mother, I am doing everything I can to support my kids through this unimaginable grief. But without the ability to work, I am struggling financially. The funds from this fundraiser will help me feed my children, provide for their basic needs, and give us the chance to move to a new home where we can begin to heal. Moving is something I believe will help us all, but I simply do not have the resources to make it happen on my own.
