Hiiii, it’s me again… asking for your love, prayers… and money- because this year just has NOT been kind to my family.

I’m sure many of you have seen the photos floating around of the firefighters responding to a house fire in Anchorage. Maybe you recognized it right away, or just thought, “hmm, that house looks familiar?”

Yep, that was my family’s house.

Friday night was one of the scariest moments I’ve experienced. My dad’s house burned down [mostly]. THANKFULLY my dad, both sisters, and all 3 of their pets are SAFE. But they have lost damn near everything. Breanna’s room was hit the hardest- it looks essentially gone. Dad’s room was a close second. Carlee’s room and the rest of the house are charred, water logged, and covered in insulation and gunk from the fire, smoke, and still-collapsing structure.

Also a special thank you to the friends and family who showed up for the family Friday night! Who hugged us as the house burned, who brought clothes and food and dog toys the next day. The support system is amazing and I’m so grateful.

Any donations received will go directly to my family to help them replenish basic necessities like clothing, food, pet food, toiletries, etc.
