UPDATE: They were able to get in the house and get some pictures of the damage! There is an excessive amount of water and smoke damage! They will be calling me tonight to explain the damages more in detail! Again we want to thank everyone for sharing and donating! It will be months before they can go home!

Last night, my father, stepmom, and my two younger brothers (14 & 16) lost their home to a devastating fire. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but the damage is severe and they’ve lost so much. I’m sharing this for anyone who feels called to help during this incredibly difficult time.

The fire started upstairs where the boys’ bedrooms were, and they’ve lost nearly everything. We’re still assessing the full extent of the damage, and I’ll keep everyone updated as we learn more.
