On March 14, my life changed when I was diagnosed with leukemia. As a single parent, I am now facing this health battle while also navigating the aftermath of leaving a domestic violence marriage. My children and I are currently homeless, and I am working through court cases and custody challenges, all while trying to manage my new diagnosis and keep my family safe.
